Edmunds Well Wildlife Sanctuary is located near the community of Summer Lake, Oregon in sparsely-populated Lake County just off Oregon Hwy-31.
Travel Time (driving) To The Sanctuary

5.5 hrs. from Portland
3.5 hrs. from Eugene
2 hrs. from Bend

Directions from Bend, OR

From Bend take Hwy 97 South to Lapine
One mile south of Lapine turn Left on Hwy 31
Go to the 66 mile post
Look for a sign, “RV Park 1/2 mile”
Prepare to Turn Left on Carlon Lane ..County Rd 4-16
Continue to the end of pavement on Carlon Lane
Turn Left onto Shuffield Road..County Rd 4-16A
Continue 2-3 miles until the fencing ends on the right
SLOW DOWN
Turn Right onto our driveway..
Address Marker reads “49659”
Gravel driveway is 1 mile long..go slow
