WHAT WILL YOUR DONATIONS PROVIDE?

 

Make a child’s dream come true! Many children have never seen a deer or been fishing. Some have never heard ducks call. Help them experience a memory they will forever cherish or perhaps pursue a way of life they might never have had the chance to explore. We have made living conditions for the birds and other animals very pleasant.

 

 

We can keep operating only by receiving donations and renting the lodge to fishermen, bird watchers and organizational retreats.  Can we expect to see you soon?

Carol & Don Edmunds

For the past several years, most development expenditures have been borne by Don and Carol Edmunds. Assistance has been provided by Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Access and Habitat program, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Oregon Waterfowl and Wetlands Association. The total assistance provided by these organizations is approximately $120,000. These funds were used for excavation, dike construction, road construction, water structure purchase and installation, vegetation planting and related activities.

Don and Carol Edmunds have provided approximately $700,000 of their own funds in furtherance of this endeavor. All funding has been used for purchase and maintenance of the property, aforementioned construction projects and other unassisted construction projects, drilling of two wells, both artesian and installation of transmission pipe, purchase and maintenance of equipment, carrying charges, taxes, insurance, utilities and completion of the unfinished farmhouse.
